Whether you are a home-schooler, or just interested in having your kid master a subject for school or for fun, Brainstorms Nextbooks courses are perfect for learning at home. Our courses are entirely self-directed, and video-based, so you, as the parent, don't have to be a whiz on the topic for them to be successful. You can either sit back and watch them advance, or you can get your hands dirty and enjoy the course with them.
If, however, you would like to have your high school or middle school accept credit for the Brainstorms Nextbook course that your child completes, be sure to first clear that with the administration of your school. If your school doesn't already accept and work with Brainstorms Nextbooks, we will follow up with them to make sure the course will be accepted onto your students' transcript.
Besides that, you can simply enroll your kid at any time, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, and watch them grow!

Is Brainstorms Nextbooks a school?
No, we are not a school and do not issue transcripts. We create online courses to be used by schools who want/need top of the line curriculum, or by individuals that are either home-schooled, or are not taking the course for a-g approved credit, but rather use the online courses for study materials.
How long does it take to finish a brainstorms Nextbooks course?
Brainstorms Nextbooks courses are entirely self-directed, so unless a teacher or parent sets a fixed schedule for students, they are allowed to proceed at the pace that is comfortable for them. We believe that this is one of the greatest strengths of Brainstorms Nextbooks courses.
Is Brainstorms Nextbooks accredited?
Curriculum providers, like Brainstorms Nextbooks, are not accredited, only schools are. An accredited school can adopt our curriculum, just as accredited schools use textbooks from outside providers, but the accredited transcript would come from the school itself, not us.
